2nd Meeting of Research on Chinese Immigration in Brazil: mobility and identities

On May 2, 17, Director (Juliana Wo) and Pedagogical Coordinator (Cristina Abdo), participated in the "2nd Meeting of Research on Chinese Immigration in Brazil: mobility and identities" at the Social Research Laboratory of the Department of Sociology of USP. This event discussed the importance of the Chinese community in the scenario of the Brazilian and world economy, and the great cultural contribution in the cultural miscegenation in our society. On the occasion, Juliana and Cristina presented the pioneering project developed at the Colegio de São Bento in partnership with the PSF, such as PLE (Portuguese for Foreigners) course, pedagogical monitoring for Chinese students, English classes and Chinese classes for natives, descendants And Brazilians; As well as cultural activities such as: theater, dance, piano, guitar, violin, Chinese harp, Chinese painting, among others. Once again we emphasize the importance of the exchange of experiences for a personal growth and development of the entire pedagogical team.
