Visit of the Illustrious Vice Mayor of the City of Campinas

On Thursday (09/02/2016), the College of São Bento and PSF-Courses and Training, had the honor of receiving a visit from the Illustrious Vice-Prefect of the city of Campinas, Henrique Magalhães Teixeira, together with members of the Department of International Cooperation, Mr. Tak Chung Wu and Mrs. Angela, and the President of the Beijing Cultural Association in Brazil, Ms. Lúcia.

The director of the PSF, Mrs. Juliana Wu and Mr. Camilo, Vice-Rector of the São Bento College, was welcomed to promote the pioneering project developed at this institution, promoting the social inclusion of Chinese immigrants in Brazil through the Portuguese course for Foreigners (PLE), both for children, adolescents and adults, and Chinese for natives and Brazilians.

This project, directed by Pedagogical Coordinator Ms. Cristina Abdo, also has extracurricular courses such as Chinese, English, theater, dance, music, pedagogical reinforcement in different disciplines, sports, piano, violin, guitar, Chinese harp, Chinese painting , During the week as well as on Saturdays.

Due to the city of Campinas being a large stronghold of the Chinese colony in SP, educational partnerships were established, with the goal of increasingly promoting the social inclusion of our Chinese brothers.
